“My Personal Experience to Applying for RERA Registration in Kolkata, India: A Step-by-Step Process for an Individual Agent”

Introduction:

- The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (RERA) in India aims to regulate the real estate sector and protect the interests of homebuyers.

- If you are a real estate agent or an enterprise in Kolkata, applying for RERA registration is crucial to comply with the law and build trust with your clients.

Applying for RERA Registration as an Individual Agent/I know this as I applied and got my Registration Certificate.

1. Eligibility Criteria according to me:

- Must be an Indian citizen for Registration in India.


2. Documents needed:

- PAN card

- Aadhar card

- Address proof

- Registration fee payment receipt


3. Steps to Apply:

- Visit the RERA website of West Bengal.

- Fill in the application form with accurate details.

- Upload the required documents in addition to what I have mentioned as mentioned on the website.

- Pay the registration fee online.

- Obtain the registration certificate once approved.
